About Düchamps
IT’S WHAT’S ON THE OUTSIDE THAT COUNTS
Düchamps was founded through the personal evolution of Teddy Lawson. While growing up in Montreal, Teddy’s individuality was vibrant among his friends who nicknamed him “Duchamps” after the character Teddy Duchamps in the movie Stand By Me. Embracing his restless nature then, now has evolved into a motivation to constantly invent, create, and innovate.
Düchamps Since 1887 embodies nuances of French-born inventor/artist Marcel Duchamp, born in 1887, and Coco Chanel. Teddy’s ideology of invention and creation reflects Marcel’s revolutionary developments within art and Coco’s clear vision and sense of detail. The creative input from Alex Casado and Kyle Deinstadt represents the umlauts; the dual dots and duo behind Düchamps. Its all about collaborative efforts and teamwork.
Düchamps was created as a vehicle intended to spread their art and message. The French street wear inspired fashion line utilizes zippers that are seen in each of their pieces. The Double Zipper Brim (DZB) snap back hat includes these inspired elements of culture; creating an innovative hat that is unique to Düchamps.
Düchamps stands for a profound appetite to invent, create, and innovate. Join Düchamps as their evolution continues.
It is all about building an 'Army of individualism' through one piece of clothing at a time.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU SHAPES YOU.
